Modernisation of an airport’s arrival area

Part of the VINCI Airports network (VINCI Concessions) since 2016, Aerodom, which operates six airports in the Dominican Republic, inaugurated the first phase of the works to transform the passenger terminal at Santo Domingo Las Américas Airport on 17 December 2019.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Monika Infante, CEO of Aerodom, Álvaro Leite, commercial director of Aerodom and Marino Collante, Director of the Department of Dominican Airports. The upgraded arrival area now boasts new furniture and amenities, and catering and shopping facilities. The second phase of the works, scheduled to start in early 2020, concerns the departure area, and will include relocating and modernising the security and migration services, and extending the catering and retail areas.
