Modernisation of a pan-European rail corridor

On 5 May 2016, Eurovia CS completed the modernisation of a section of railway track between Horusice and Veselí nad Lužnicí (Czech Republic) and the total rehabilitation of Veselí‘s station, a major railway hub where the new platforms are now linked by an underground walkway.
This line forms part of Pan-European Rail Corridor IV, aimed at linking the cities of Berlin, Prague, Linz, Ljubljana and Zagreb. Eurovia CS teams have already worked on this project, launched in 2013, notably installing a double track enabling an increase in speed on the Prague-České Budějovice section from 100 to 160 km/h.
Total value of the works: €59m.
