Matmut Atlantique Stadium wins awards for its architecture

In Bordeaux, the Matmut Atlantique Stadium, managed by VINCI Stadium (VINCI Concessions), has just been voted “Stadium of 2015” by the www.stadiumdb.com website.

During this 6th edition of the Stadium of the Year competition, a jury of architecture experts specifically mentioned the aesthetic and architectural qualities of the competing sports venues, as well as their innovations and the way they blended into their environment.

The Matmut Atlantique stood out for its atypical design “resembling that of a museum”. This structure also took 2nd place in the ranking decided by the public.
In addition, the stadium – one of 3,000 projects submitted – won an award in the Sports Architecture category of the 2016 edition of Building of the Year, organised by the ArchDaily website.
