Improvements for a port terminal in Canada

BA Blacktop (Eurovia) has been appointed by GCT Canada Inc. to supply part of the civil engineering on the redevelopment project at the Deltaport port terminal, to the south of Vancouver.
This facility receives the very biggest trans-Pacific container ships: once unloaded, 70% of the containers are transported onwards by rail. BA Blacktop is charged with the demolition and disposal of the existing railway installations at the terminal, and the construction of a new railway network. The company will also install an underground water supply network, a drainage network and a power supply network. The works will extend through till October 2017.
