Grand Parc project in Bordeaux

GTM Bâtiment Aquitaine (VINCI Construction France) handed over its rehabilitation, on an occupied site, of the 530 homes in the Grand Parc complex in Bordeaux (west of France) at the end of 2016, after more than two-and-a-half years of works.

Launched in 2014, this rehabilitation project concerned three 15-storey buildings. The flats have been enlarged by 25 to 30 sq. metres, thanks to the installation of conservatories created using prefabricated reinforced concrete posts and slabs. Other works were also carried out: asbestos removal and removal of window breasts (to provide access to the conservatories), bringing electrical installations up to standard, enlargement of shower rooms, creation of external lifts and the construction of eight 3-room flats on the roofs.
