Down-to-the-millimetre inventory management for the T9 tram line

To the south of Paris, Eurovia is undertaking urban development works along the 10 km route of the T9 tram line.

Fourteen types of natural stone are being used to build the new structures adjacent to the tram line, including 107 km of edges; representing 1,000 references, they are being delivered on 22,000 pallets by 1,500 articulated lorries. A storage and dispatching platform has been installed at Villeneuve-Le-Roi, by Paris, and a dedicated app has been created to enable material deliveries to be adjusted to meet the project’s requirements.

A platform designed to recycle and reuse worksite materials has also been installed at Vitry-sur-Seine, enabling the Eurovia teams to earn the Environmental Excellence label in both the ‘waste management’ and ‘interaction with local residents’ categories.
