Deployment of charging points for electric vehicles in Greece

Following the bringing into service, a year ago, of the Olympia Odos motorway, VINCI Highways (VINCI Concessions) is continuing its strategy of innovation and improving services for Greek motorists by inaugurating the first two ‘green’ service areas between Athens and Patras.

They are the first two in the country to offer motorists a charging service for electric vehicles (EV charge) and, by the end of 2018, will also be offering a natural gas refuelling service (Fisikon). These new service areas are a response to the most recent regulations regarding energy conservation.
