Sogea Atlantique BTP/VINCI Construction France has won the major works package (structural works, envelope and finishing works) for the construction of the two buildings that will form the new hospital in Le Mans (north-western France).

The first (12,000 sq. metres), Monet Sud, will house the hospital’s main reception area, day care facilities and 100 consulting rooms able to receive between 30,000 and 60,000 patients a year.

The second, the Sergent Building (10,000 sq. metres) will accommodate six hospitalisation units previously dispersed across the complex.

A footbridge will be constructed to unify the site and link up its various buildings, old and new. The entire project will be implemented using building information modelling (BIM).
Value of the works: €45.6m, of which €26.5m for Sogea Atlantique BTP.
