In Le Havre (Normandy), Sogea Nord-Ouest (VINCI Construction France), as co-contracting authority with the Seine Estuary CCI on behalf of the urban community, is preparing to erect the building that will house the Normandy School of Management (SM) and the Digital City.

Located in the heart of Le Havre’s maritime and port campus, the project forms part of a strategy of bringing together students, academics and entrepreneurs in order to promote the emergence of an ecosystem that will encourage innovation, entrepreneurship and the digital economy.

The 12,700 sq. metre building (9,100 sq. metres for the Normandy SM and 3,600 sq. metres for the Digital City) will comprise numerous working, living and socialising areas for the two projects and their users, including a 500 sq. metre atrium opening to its full height onto the outside spaces.

The Digital City will notably provide coworking spaces for Web and digital professionals, a fab lab and appropriate accommodation for the development of young companies, including a start-up incubator.
The works are due to start early 2018, with handover scheduled for spring 2019.
