Completion of works for Diori Hamani interchange in Niger

Sogea Satom (VINCI Construction International Network) has completed the works of the basic contract for the Diori Hamani interchange in Niamey, the country’s capital.

This is composed of an overpass in prestressed concrete (340 metres; 2x2 lanes), a 178 metre-long access section, a 147 metre-long framework structure and a 1.5 km-long two-beam bridge 92 metres above the Gountou Yena River. Works on a 1,500 m-long stretch of this watercourse were an opportunity to drain off rainwater and wastewater, often a source of insalubrity in the city. Launched in December 2015, this project also involved ISC, Freyssinet, Terre Armée (VINCI Construction subsidiaries) and LSE (VINCI Construction International Network).
