A further 1,300 km now equipped with GSM-R

Since late March 2017, the Synerail consortium, in which VINCI Concessions and VINCI Energies have a 30% stake, has been operating the GSM-R system on 11,600 km of the French railway network.

In the space of a month, from February to March 2017, an additional 1,300 km were equipped, to the north and to the south of Paris (600 km) and on the Paris-Bordeaux line (700 km). Ultimately, this new, more reliable and effective radio communication system, intended for railway personnel, will be available on 16,000 km of line and operated by Synerail until 2025.
