Greenhouse gas emissions reduction levers – Scopes 1 and 2
This chart illustrates the levers for reducing VINCI’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions between 2018 (baseline year) and 2030 (target year), focusing on Scopes 1 and 2.
The stated objective is a 40% reduction in GHG emissions compared to 2018, decreasing from 2.4 million tons of CO₂e to 1.6 million tons of CO₂e.
Greenhouse gas emissions reduction levers – Scope 3
This chart illustrates the levers for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Scope 3 between 2019 (baseline year) and 2030 (target year).
The objective is a 20% reduction in emissions across the value chain, decreasing from approximately 47 million tons of CO₂e in 2019 to 39 million tons of CO₂e in 2030.
VINCI’s approach to its Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG reduction commitments is focused on achieving impactful results. Although the Group has defined clear targets and time horizons for some key actions and activities, its strategy is a flexible one that allows for adjustments to be made based on operational realities. Its portfolio of initiatives combines effective reduction measures with substitution solutions. The mix aims to maximise total impact while taking into consideration local circumstances and opportunities that are specific to each region.
