VINCI Highways, VINCI Concessions’ subsidiary, has finalised the acquisition of 100% of LAMSAC company, concessionaire-holder of Línea Amarilla, a 25 km toll road around the center of Lima, and PEX, LAMSAC’s electronic toll collection operator. The deal is based on an enterprise value of LAMSAC and PEX at PEN 5.5billion (around EUR 1.5 billion) as of 31 December 2015.

The new 12 km portion of the East End Crossing connecting the U.S. states of Indiana and Kentucky was inaugurated on 18 December 2016 at a ceremony attended by Eric Holcomb, governor of Indiana, and Matt Bevin, governor of Kentucky, as well as Alain Bonnot, Chairman of VINCI Construction Grands Projets, and Matthew Walsh Co-Chairman of The Walsh Group.

Eurovia, the VINCI subsidiary specialising in transport infrastructure and urban development, has won the design-build contract to renovate and widen a 32 km section of the I-85 motorway in Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties in South Carolina between Charlotte and Greenville.

Eurovia, the VINCI subsidiary specialising in transport infrastructure and urban development, has been awarded the eight works packages of the second phase of the modernisation of the tramway in Košice, Slovakia’s second largest city. Worth almost €80 million, this new contract follows on from the first phase of works, completed by Eurovia between April and October 2015 (for €20 million).

Continuing its work with the Mandarin Oriental Group, VINCI Construction signed the contract to renovate the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel in London, a project with a value of about £60 million (€69 million).

VINCI Energies, the VINCI subsidiary specialising in energy services and information and communication technologies, has reached an agreement with Novabase to acquire its subsidiary Novabase IMS.

TollPlus, based in Phoenix (Arizona) and present in Hyderabad (India), has emerged in just five years as a reference in development, implementation and maintenance of dematerialised solutions for Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) operations and customer management. Already active in the USA, the company currently deploys its transaction management system across almost 350 toll plazas in India.

On August 12th 2016, Colombia’s National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) awarded the project 3rd Lane Bogota-Girardot: a public-private partnership (PPP) contract with a term of 30 years for the addition of 65km of 3rd lane and the operation of 141 km of the highway between Bogotá and Girardot, in Cundinamarca and Tolima Departments in Colombia.

A joint venture made up of VINCI Construction subsidiaries VINCI Construction Grands Projets and EMCC and the Belgian dredging company Jan de Nul has won the $147 million (about €130 million) contract to extend the port of Kingston, Jamaica. Leading worldwide shipping group CMA CGM, which has held the concession for the port of Kingston since 1 July 2016, selected the joint venture to carry out the project.

The Femern Link Contractors joint venture has signed today with the Danish government *contracts in Copenhagen for the design and build of the world’s longest immersed road and rail tunnel, the Fehmarnbelt link between Denmark and Germany.

Rating agency Moody's has raised its long-term credit rating on VINCI by one notch, from Baa1 to A3. It has also raised its short-term rating on VINCI by one notch, from P-2 to P-1. The outlook on both ratings remains stable.

Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG has awarded Spiecapag, a subsidiary of Entrepose (VINCI Group), the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) of three lots of onshore gas pipelines as part of the TAP (Trans-Adriatic Pipeline) project: one lot represents 185 km in Greece - between Kipoi and Kavala - and two lots are totalling 215 km in Albania, between Bilisht and Topoje.

On the occasion of the state visit to France of Mr Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, the Iran Airports Company and VINCI Airports today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the concession for the Mashhad and Isfahan airports, Iran’s 2nd and 5thlargest airports respectively.
