Chairman of VINCI Autoroutes

Pierre Coppey, born in 1963, is a graduate of the Strasbourg Institut d'Etudes Politiques (1984), and an alumnus of the Strasbourg Centre Universitaire d'Enseignement du Journalisme (journalism school). He holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Paris II and is also an alumnus of France’s National School of Telecommunications (ENSPTT, 1986).
 1989: appointed head of internal and institutional communication for La Poste. 1992: joins Campenon Bernard SGE as Director of Communication. 1996: appointed Director of Communication for the SGE group. 2001: named Director of Human Resources and Synergies and member of the VINCI Executive Committee. 2006: appointed Senior Executive Vice-President of VINCI with responsibility for communication, human resources and synergies. End 2007: appointed Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Cofiroute. July 2009: named Chairman of VINCI Autoroutes, which groups together ASF, Cofiroute, Escota and Arcour. Pierre Coppey is also Chairman of the VINCI Autoroutes Foundation for Responsible Driving, a trustee of the VINCI Foundation for the Community and First Vice-President of the Association des Sociétés Françaises d'Autoroutes. Pierre Coppey has been Chairman of the Aurore non-profit organisation since 2000.
