Background: François David has a degree in sociology, and is a graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and the École Nationale d’Administration. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coface since 1994, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Coface Deutschland since 1996 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coface Assicurazioni since 1997. In 2008, he was appointed to the Supervisory Boards of Areva and of Lagardère SCA. Mr David has also written several books.
