Restoring and presenting the cultural heritage to best advantage are very much part of the master-builder's work.

Fourteen firms within the VINCI Group have been approved by Monuments Historiques, the French authority responsible for historic buildings, to work on classified historic buildings: Bourgeois, Cavalier, Chanzy–Pardoux, Comte, Degaine, Girard, Jugla, Faure Silva, Lainé Delau, LCRI, Mastran, Pateu & Robert, Société Ritou Construction (SRC) and Socra.

Two other VINCI Group firms are approved to work on historic buildings classified in the supplementary list at Monuments Historiques: Sogea Atlantique and Gautier.

VINCI also offers a capability in the use of lighting to enhance historic settings, through the Citeos brand and SDEL Artec, which form part of VINCI Energies.
