| You have a project that could improve
life in the city or help the socially excluded get back to
work within city life. VINCI's Corporate Foundation for the
City is offering its skills network and is ready to assist
you financially.
However, if your project is not based in France, it must be
submitted to the Foundation by a VINCI employee.
Grants provided by the Foundation average 15,000 euros,
and are earmarked towards investment.
The annual grant budget stands at 2 millions euros.
Selection criteria
1 - Nature of projects
We give priority to projects developing social responsibility,
or helping the socially excluded get back to work. We are
not involved in Health, Disability or Humanitarian programs.
It is not sufficient for a private undertaking to be borne
by someone suffering from social exclusion; the project must
also address solidarity issues.
2 - Involvement of VINCI workers
We want to give more than money. This is why we support projects
which call upon the skills of VINCI workers : providing skills,
networking, helping with business opportunities, job creation...
3 - Sustainable projects
We do not support on-the-spot projects, but prefer intiatives
providing sustainable employment or activities. We do not
finance festivals or events.
4 - Location
We support projects developed for cities or urban areas.
5 - Structure type
The structure can be an association or a business, and must
develop a project addressing genuine social issues. It must be non politic and nondenominational. We do
not finance local authorities or state agencies. |
